Mac OS X:
- Click the Apple menu at the top left corner of the desktop screen, then select System Preferences.
- Click on Network from the Internet & Network section.
- For wired connection:
Click on Ethernet. The IP Address listed is your computer IP address and the Router is your router local IP address.
- For wireless connection:
- Click Wi-Fi, then click Advanced.
- Click TCP/IP. The IPv4 Address listed is your computer IP address and the Router is your router local IP address.
Windows 8 and 8.1:
- Click the Search icon on the Charms bar SEARCH.
- Select Command Prompt.
- Type ipconfig and press the Enter key. The IPv4 address listed is your computer IP address.
Windows 7:
- On your computer keyboard, press and hold the Windows button and R keys to open the Run window.
- Type cmd in the field and click OK.
- Type ipconfig and press the Enter key. The IPv4 address listed is your computer IP address.
Windows 2000 and Windows XP:
- Select Start > Run and type cmd. A command prompt window opens
- Type ipconfig /release.
- Type ipconfig /renew.
- Close the command prompt window.
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows NT:
- Select Start > Run and type winipcfg.
- Click Release in the IP Configuration window.
- Click Renew in the IP Configuration window.
