For windows 2000 and XP:
- Go to start > run and type cmd, press enter.
- Type ipconfig/release.
- Type ipconfig/renew.
For versions older than windows 2000:
- Go to start > run and type winipcfg.
- Click release in the IP configuration window.
- Click renew in the IP configuration window.
- Close the window.

For Mac OS X:
- Go to System Preferences.
- Click on network from internet and network section.
- For wired connection, click on Ethernet. The IP address listed in your computer IP address and the Router is your local IP address.
- For wireless connection, Go to Wi-Fi > Advanced > TCP/IP. The IPv4 Address listed is your computer IP address and the router is your local IP address.
Disable Firewall and Popup blockers:
It is possible that firewall and popup blockers are blocking the configuration page as it uses JavaScript and some firewall and popup blockers block them. So you may need to disable or them or add the configuration page to their exception list.
Resetting your router:
If none of this works, you can reset your router which has a high chance that your problem will be fixed.
